About

Yamaha's MG166CX is a 16-channel / 6-bus live console that punches well above its size. Ten studio-grade Class-A mic preamps with +48V phantom feed clean, low-noise gain to vocals and instruments; one-knob compressors on the first six channels tighten up unruly sources; and the on-board SPX digital effects engine delivers 16 programs of reverb, delay, chorus and modulation that you'd normally find on a dedicated rack unit. 3-band EQ with a sweepable mid (channels 1–8), an 18 dB/oct low-cut filter, 3 aux sends (one dedicated to FX), and a tough metal chassis make it ideal for bands, weddings, panels, schools and houses of worship.
