About

Quest Engineering's QSA 400 is a self-contained bi-amplified 15-inch active loudspeaker — proper pro PA in a single box. The 380 mm woofer gets its own 240 W amplifier (450 W music power) and the 1.5" titanium-diaphragm compression driver gets a dedicated 60 W amp (110 W music power), so highs and lows never fight for headroom. Maximum SPL is 117 dB nominal / 120 dB peak with a 90° × 60° coverage horn. Mic and line XLR inputs live on the back panel alongside master volume and a low-frequency roll-off switch, so you can plug a vocal mic straight in for small gigs or run it off a mixer for bigger ones. Built for live music, DJ sets, weddings and outdoor parties up to a few hundred people per pair.
